On a warm day in August, Nord Center CEO Don Schiffbauer visited our friends at Montrose Kia in Sheffield for a podcast interview. This was part of the Montrose Kia Cares podcast series. After sharing information in front of a handsomely dressed hamster and Kia backdrop, Mr. Schiffbauer was able to accept a check for $1,000 from Montrose Kia General Manager Ewan Dacres as Montrose Kia helps Nord Center as part of the Montrose Kia Cares Campaign. In fact, not only did Montrose Kia of Sheffield donate to The Nord Center but they donated $1,000 each to 12 nonprofit organizations in the community. In addition to this generosity, they also delivered locally purchased meals to first responders in 13 Lorain County municipalities. Montrose Kia’s partners in supporting the charities included: Smile Payee Services, Maximum Velocity, The Tifft Family Foundation, Lake Erie Lanes, LorMet Credit Union and the Lorain County Chamber of Commerce. We appreciated the opportunity to visit the dealership and share information about our agency and its services.
