Harm Reduction Clinic

Harm Reduction Program reduces the spread of infectious disease related to injection drug use, increases public safety, decreases stigma impacting people who inject drugs, and connects residents to substance use treatment and recovery support.

Reports and studies unanimously support the conclusions that harm reduction programs reduce HIV/AIDS and hepatitis transmission and do not cause rates of drug use to increase.

Additionally, many studies affirm that these programs help to encourage and facilitate entry into treatment programs and healthy lifestyle changes.
