Funding for mental health services and substance abuse is more critical than ever during these difficult times, as the number of people who need help continues to escalate.

• 1 in 4 adults experience mental illness each year.
• About 9.2 million adults in the United States experience mental health and addiction disorders simultaneously.
• 70% of youth in the justice system have at least one mental health condition, and at least 20% live with severe mental illness.
• Adults living with mental illness die on average 25 years earlier than other Americans, largely due to treatable medical conditions.

Your gift to The Nord Center will help sustain and grow our programs and services, as well as immediately impact the lives of people we serve. It is our goal to help each and every one of our patients reach their full potential and become productive members of the community through quality, accessible, cost-effective behavioral healthcare. MEMORIAL GIVING
Express your sympathy or honor the memory of a loved one with memorial giving. A memorial gift is a thoughtful way to honor the memory of a family member or friend. A personalized letter will be sent to the honoree or family acknowledging your gift.

PLANNED GIVING
You can give the gift of hope in various ways that will also benefit you and your family. Examples of Planned Giving include: • Gifts from your will or trust • Gifts of stock or appreciated assets • Charitable gift annuity • Retirement accounts • Life insurance policies.

EMPLOYER MATCHING GIFTS
You can make your gift go further with employer matching gifts. Matching gift programs can double or sometimes triple your contribution. Eligible supporters for corporate matching gift programs may include: Full-time or part-time employees; Retired employees; Spouse of an employee To find out if your company has a matching gift program, contact the human resources department at your company. If eligible, you will need to request a matching gift form from your employer and send it completed and signed with your gift.

DONOR WALL RECOGNITION PROGRAM
Individual sponsors or businesses may choose to have their names / messages engraved on a 2.5″ x 9″ zinc plaque, which will affix to the wall in our first floor hallway / waiting room area of our South Broadway location. There are 4 levels of memorial brick sponsorship:

• Gold Sponsor: $1,000 donation
• Silver Sponsor: $750 donation
• Bronze Sponsor: $500 donation
• Copper Sponsor: $250 donation
