During the last several years, The Nord Center has been focused more than ever on how to improve access to its services for those in the community who need them. To celebrate the agency’s ongoing transformation and evolution, The Nord Center’s brand identity is changing to better reflect the services it provides to clients and to highlight the agency as a provider of choice for behavioral health treatment, advocacy and support in and around Lorain County now and in the future.
The new brand identity and logo accurately reflect the organization’s complex array of behavioral health and advocacy services, commitment to the community and a culture based on compassion, healing and equity. As part of the new look and brand, it has adopted a tagline “Transforming Lives. Together.”
To provide a clear picture and more user-friendly access to the community, to the over 7,000 people per year that it serves and to those who may need but not yet be receiving its services, The Nord Center has also completely transformed its website, www.nordcenter.org. Updated publications and signage will soon follow.
The new branding strongly conveys the agency’s emphasis on person-centered care. In addition, the new brand highlights the five core services that the agency provides: adult behavioral health; children’s behavioral health; crisis services, sexual assault services; and residential services.
Nord Center CEO, Don Schiffbauer, shared the agency’s brand promise which is: “The Nord Center is a place for healing. We provide industry-leading behavioral health programs, prevention education and client advocacy that focuses on individual recovery and well-being. With our committed team, we generate positive impact that leads to healthier lives and a stronger community.”
